The MoU was signed in the relationship on cooperation between FAT and Yamabunn Co., Ltd., Japan on 30 August 2019 that research and develop, transferring advanced technology from Japan, and develop to human resources in the field of applied technology in Agriculture.
Prof. Dr. Le Huy Ham, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Dr. Le Thi Hien, Head of department Bionanotechnology, Dr. Ha Thi Quyen, a lecturer who attend the signing ceremony represents of FAT.
On the side of Yamabunn Co., Ltd included Mr. Matsumura Mitsuyoshi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yamabunn Co., Ltd, MA. Do Manh Hung, Director of Hoa A Chau Company who Representative of Yamabunn Co., Ltd in Vietnam.
Yamabunn Co., Ltd. company was established 145 years, it is a company that the largest fruit and vegetable trading in Toyama Prefecture. It provides a service chain including manufacturing, processing, logistics, marketing, and sales. In 2010, Yamabunn Co., Ltd. has established as a legal entity in Vietnam (under named Hoa A Chau Co., Ltd.). In 2013, it started with a strategy on a strong business that provides a service chain in the agriculture field in Vietnam and ASEAN.
According to Mr. Matsumura, Vietnam's agriculture should focus on farming. In order to customer safe products that it is necessary to do all 5 stages including cultivation, preservation, processing, logistics, and marketing. Therefore, agricultural technologists should be knowledgeable about agricultural value chains, markets of applied technology in agriculture on domestic and international. Therefore, they are able to manage including high-tech agricultural projects, agricultural production systems, and the quality of agricultural products.
Cooperation include:
1. Fertilizer soil and crop nutrition include of production technology organic fertilizer, production technology of soil amendment, analysis technology soil-water, nutrition control, design technology of control process, and Nano fertilizer technology.
2. Plant varieties and biomass include production technologies of seed on tissue culture, hydroponics, and aeroponics, management technologies of seedling production, technologies for breeding, and developing new varieties.
3. Agricultural production includes the production technology of modern agriculture based on a system that controls environmental conditions such as a greenhouse, intelligent control system, equipment machinery, animal husbandry technology, bio-products that are friendly in the environment, reduce diseases, and increase livestock productivity.
4. Plant factory of technology provides for the green vegetable biomass.
5. Processing and storage after harvest includes the control system for hygiene and food safety by technology standards such as GAP, HACCP, HAL, etc., processing equipment, storage, and packaging.
6. Cold-chain Logistic includes cold storage management technology, transportation, and process of import and export.
7. To make to digitizing of data, builds applications on the smartphone platform.
Yamabunn Co., Ltd. is the focal point connecting, introducing, and transferring technologies, advanced equipment in the agriculture field from Japan (at universities, research institutes, large manufacturing companies, etc.) to FAT, UET, and Institute of Agricultural Genetics aims 1) Improving productivity 2) increase added value 3) environmentally friendly 4) Capable of regenerating in cyclic 5) Put in the chain of links.
